Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
3000 WELCOME BONUS Main Purpose: Provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) input to adults with acquired brain injury (ABI) within Bio-Psycho-Social rehabilitation model. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support communication and swallowing needs, enhance quality of life, and promote recovery. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive SaLT assessments and evidence-based interventions for communication and swallowing (dysphagia) needs. Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation and management plans. Provide training and guidance to staff, families, and communication partners. Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and contribute to service development. Liaise effectively with internal and external professionals and family members. About You: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy. HCPC registration (essential). Dysphagia competencies achieved. Experience (min. 18 months) in neurology or acquired brain injury settings.
