We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Sousandnbsp;Chef to lead the culinary team at a newly refurbished, high-end contract catering venue located in a stunning Kent location. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment with a focus on quality, seasonality, and local sourcing.
The Role:
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, overseeing food preparation for the restaurant, cafandeacute;/retail outlets, and a diverse calendar of events. You''ll have the creative freedom to design menus that showcase the best of Kent''s local produce, working closely with trusted regional suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and inspiring a dedicated kitchen team
Designing and delivering innovative, seasonal menus across multiple outlets
Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene and health andamp; safety
Managing kitchen budgets, GP targets, and stock control
Supporting the delivery of events, private functions, and high-volume service days
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous in a similar multi-outlet or contract catering environment
Passionate about fresh, local, and sustainable ingredients
Strong leadership and team development skills
Calm under pressure with excellent organisational ability
Comfortable managing both day-to-day service and larger scale events
