What You''ll Do
- Assist the Head Chef in all kitchen operations, ensuring service runs smoothly and to the highest standard
- Be hands-on in daily service, stepping in where needed and delivering consistency in every dish
- Drive the development and execution of menus focusing on seasonal local produce
- Support cost control via stock management, GP monitoring, purchasing, and waste control
- Mentor, train, and lead junior chefs with clear direction, motivation, and coaching
- Uphold rigorous food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Work closely with management to deliver on KPIs and maintain operational excellence

About You
- Minimum 2-3 years'' experience as a Sous Chef in a busy, high-volume restaurant or similar environment
- Proven expertise with meat andamp; seafood cooking
- Strong commercial awareness - you understand GP, cost of goods, labour control, and profitability
- Natural leader: calm under pressure, organised, effective communicator, hands-on approach
