Senior Software Engineer

with expertise in Python to join our dynamic team in the fintech sector. What You''ll be doing as a Senior Software EngineerDesign and develop robust, scalable, and secure applications using PythonCollaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Solutions Architects, and other Engineers to define requirements, create software architecture, and deliver high-quality solutions.Implement automated testing and deployment strategies to ensure reliability and efficiency in the software delivery process.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices in software development.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests.Participate in code reviews, contributing to the maintenance of high coding standards and improving the overall quality of the codebase.What you''ll bring to the Senior Software Engineer positionProven experience with cloud-based technology, and services, preferably within AWS.Expertise in both Frontend and Backend software solution developmentExperience with Agile development methodologies and SecDevOps practices.Excellent knowledge of secure coding practices inline.Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, and NoSQL, as well as data structures and algorithms.Prior experience with payment systems, transaction processing, and financial software development, encryption, and cryptography would be advantageous.Python and Supporting FrameworksReact and Supporting FrameworksDatabases: MS SQL Server, Dynamo DB, MySQL, Postgres (others advantageous)We strive to provide flexibility whilst ensuring that each position is best supported for optimal collaboration and performance.This position requires you to be in the London office (Holborn) 1 day per week.Certified by Mastercard, Visa and Diners and Discover, we process billions of debit, prepaid, and credit transactions annually, supporting consumer and corporate fintechs, digital banks, and embedded finance providers across the globe.
