Overview

Senior Software Engineer / Team Leader - West Yorkshire - £65-80k + bonus. Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer with good Siemens TIA Portal knowledge and experience of leading a small team to join a well-established, specialist engineering company with a base in West Yorkshire. The company is financially stable and growing, with a full order book.Key responsibilities

70/30 split between writing software / systems engineering and leading a team of Software Engineers respectivelyScheduling works, planning and allocation of resourcesProgramming using Siemens TIA Portal (ideally Rockwell); 80% of projects are Siemens-based as the company is a Siemens partnerDelivering variety in projects as the company works with bespoke manufacturing and a range of clients with differing requirements in scope, expectations and timescalesModbus and OPC experience are highly desirablePreparation of design documentation including I/O lists, FDS, SDI, SDS, FAT/SAT Test documentsExperience in Chemical, Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industries is useful but not essentialWorking pattern and location

Office hours are 8.00 - 16.30 Monday - Thursday and 8.00 - 13.00 Friday. The office is based in West Yorkshire and is easily commutable from Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Halifax and the surrounding towns.Development and apply
