You will act as a technical authority, remaining hands-on while working closely with UK and international engineering teams.    Key Responsibilities Own the architecture and technical delivery of major embedded software work packages from requirements through to production. Design and develop production-grade C++ applications on embedded Linux, including custom Yocto/OpenEmbedded environments. Define hardware/software partitioning, inter-processor communications, interfaces, fault handling, recovery, and software updates. Develop embedded networking and communications, including TCP/IP, UDP, QoS, SIP/RTP and VoIP. Integrate software with external network services, REST APIs, and client applications.
