Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in the development of embedded software for next-generation electric vehicle systems, supporting products from concept through to integration, validation and production. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will contribute to the delivery of vehicle control, powertrain and battery management functionality while helping shape software architecture and technical direction. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for: Developing embedded application software for electric vehicle systems using Embedded C and Model-Based Design. Designing, implementing and validating vehicle control functions, including powertrain, battery, thermal management and energy management systems. Developing software using MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded C for production automotive ECUs. Collaborating with systems, electronics and controls engineers to define software architecture and system behaviour. Supporting software integration, commissioning, calibration and vehicle testing activities. Participating in requirements capture, software design, implementation, verification and validation throughout the development lifecycle. The Senior Software Engineer will have: A degree in Software Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
