Senior Software EngineerLocation: Enfield, North London Salary: Competitive, DOE + benefits ( 60,000 - 65,000)The OpportunityAn established defence and maritime technology organisation, specialising in radar sensor and navigation systems, is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join its Engineering Software team.The organisation is a recognised name in solid-state radar sensor technology, supplying navigation and tactical radar display systems to customers around the world. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior C++ developer to take ownership of complex, innovative software projects within a specialist engineering environment.The RoleReporting to the Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the whole, or an assigned portion, of a software design - from preliminary specification through to verified, tested software.You will bring expert knowledge of software design, testing and verification to new and existing products, while also supporting and mentoring less experienced members of the team.
