Senior Software EngineerSouthampton (Hybrid working) Contract - 3 monthsPaying up to 63.50p/h (Inside IR35) Please note that due to the nature of the work, you will need to hold a high level of UK security clearance. Essential Skills and ExperienceC++ or relevant object-oriented software developmentFamiliarity with Electronics and lower-level firmwareUsing and generating documentation to create interfaces machine to machineTest frameworks and test developmentMicroservices architecture/containerisationDevelopment of new applications to meet user expectations and within formal constraints. (HMI/GUI/UX experience needed.)Familiarity with the tools and approaches to interface with hardwareExperience with developing Windows and Linux applications.Experience of using Iterative development lifecycles (for example, tailored Agile.)Experience using tools associated with Iterative development lifecycles (Jira / DevOps / Git)Familiarity with development to design and coding standards.
