Job Title: Senior Software Developer Type: Full Time, Permanent Location: Fully Remote UK Ref. We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join a technical team supporting complex software solutions within the logistics and warehouse automation sector. What You ll Do: Develop and support commercial software using Java and Oracle. Provide 2nd Level Support and troubleshoot complex customer issues. Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis. Manage fixes, patches and software releases. Mentor and support junior developers. Work closely with Project Managers and Service Account Managers. Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles. Support continuous improvement and system stability. What We re Looking For: Minimum 5 years commercial software development experience. Strong experience with Java or another object-oriented language. Experience with Oracle/SQL and relational databases. Knowledge of Hibernate, JUnit, JMS and XML. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience mentoring or leading developers. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Logistics/warehouse automation experience is desirable. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
