This role offers the chance to work on challenging projects, influence technical strategy, and play a key role in the design and development of scalable Back End systems.You''ll work with modern technologies across Linux environments, contributing to the full software development life cycle while collaborating with technical stakeholders and mentoring fellow engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain high-performance Back End applications using Java and C++.Lead the technical design and implementation of software services, components and APIs.Develop robust, secure and scalable software solutions with a strong focus on quality and maintainability.Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers within the team.Contribute to architectural decisions, technical roadmaps and engineering strategy.Conduct code reviews and champion software development best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues and performance bottlenecks.Develop RESTful APIs, microservices and distributed applications.Utilise debugging, profiling and static analysis tools to maintain high software quality.Containerise applications using Docker and contribute to ..... full job details .....
