Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner Family Services - Children''s Disability TeamBarnet CouncilRate: £37.54 per hour (Umbrella) £27.32 PAYEHours: 36 hours per weekWorking Pattern: 1-2 days in the office plus home visits (hybrid working) The Role Barnet Council is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner to join their Family Services - Children''s Disability Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is confident in managing complex cases, supporting children and young people with disabilities, and providing leadership within a statutory setting. Key ResponsibilitiesManage a complex caseload of children and young people with disabilities.Undertake Child and Family Assessments in line with statutory requirements.Lead on Child in Need, Child Protection and Looked After Children cases where required.Provide high-quality supervision, mentoring and practice support to less experienced social workers.Contribute to strategy discussions, core groups and multi-agency meetings.Complete robust assessments, care planning and court reports where necessary.Promote strength-based practice and positive outcomes for children and families.Work collaboratively with education, health and partner agencies to ensure coordinated support.About YouQualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered).Significant post-qualified experience within Children''s Services in Local Authority settings (3 years Perm)Experience working within a ..... full job details .....
