About the RoleSolihull Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our well-established Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly supportive and collaborative safeguarding environment where children and families receive the right help at the right time.Rate: 30.57 per hour (Umbrella)As a Senior Social Worker within MASH, you will play a key role in ensuring effective safeguarding arrangements for children and young people by working closely with partner agencies and making timely, informed decisions.Key responsibilities include:Screening and reviewing incoming referralsApplying threshold guidance effectively to ensure appropriate interventionsMaking timely decisions within MASH timescalesContributing to multi-agency safeguarding processes and decision-makingAttending and contributing to strategy discussionsPresenting information clearly and professionally to partner agenciesWorking collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to deliver an effective serviceMaintaining high-quality written assessments and recordsSocial Workers within MASH are line managed by a dedicated MASH Team Lead, ensuring strong support and oversight.ExperienceQualified Social Worker status and Social Work England registrationSignificant post-qualified experience within Children''s ServicesPrevious MASH experience (essential)Excellent knowledge and application of safeguarding ..... full job details .....
