      <description>Location: Suffolk | Salary: &amp;pound;40.50/hour | Type: Temporary | About the Role   Suffolk County Council is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Family Help Team based at Beacon House, Ipswich.  This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality social work services to children and families, undertaking assessments and managing complex cases to ensure children receive the right support at the right time.   Location: Beacon House, Ipswich, Suffolk    Rate: -40.50 per hour    Working Pattern: Hybrid working (minimum 3 days per week office-based)    Contract: Full-time    Key Responsibilities    Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families in line with statutory responsibilities.  Manage a caseload of Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases.  Develop and review effective plans to safeguard children and improve outcomes.  Build positive relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.  Complete accurate and timely case recordings, assessments, and reports.  Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support service improvement initiatives.  Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practice.
