Senior Social Worker Family Help (Permanent) Location: Sandwell, West Midlands Salary: £44,253 £49,817 (dependent on experience) Retention Payment: £2,500 Contract: Permanent Pro Social Partners are working in partnership with Sandwell Children''s Trust to recruit experienced Senior Social Workers into their Family Help teams. The Role Hold a caseload of more complex work and act as a source of practice expertise for the team. Support, mentor and co-work with newly qualified and less experienced colleagues. Hold a caseload of children and families within the Family Help service, working across Child in Need and Child Protection. Complete high-quality assessments, plans and reports within statutory timescales. Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to reduce risk and create lasting change. Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, child protection conferences and core groups. Ensure the voice of the child is central to all assessments and planning. About You A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration. Post-qualifying experience within Children''s Social Care, ideally in Family Help, CIN or CP. Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes. Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
