Senior Social Worker - CIN/CP

Description Our local government clients are recruiting a Senior Social Worker to deliver high-quality and effective social work services that promptly respond to the needs of children and their families, within statutory guidelines. To assess needs, plan, and deliver focused interventions to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes. Guidance, support, and supervision will be provided in line with the individual''s experience and capabilities, as outlined in our Supervision Policy. Your key responsibilities will include: To undertake interviews, observations, and gather information from children, families, and other relevant agencies. To analyse, summarise and evaluate this information to provide a holistic assessment of a child''s needs. Qualification Essential GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics. Recognised social work qualification Social Work England registered Evidence of continuing professional development Advanced Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media and CRM. Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements - Criteria to be Evaluated at the Shortlisting Stage. Knowledge and understanding of child development, parenting capacity, environmental factors and risk and protective factors. Ability to summarise, analyse and evaluate complex information.
