Senior Social Worker - Children In Our Care

Our client Barnsley Council is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their Children In Our Care team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing meaningful relationships with children and young people and ensuring that they are at the centre of everything we do.

• Ensuring that plans for children and young people are creative, individualised and reflect the child''s voice, their hopes and aspirations and drive progress

• Collaborating with family, carers and professionals to achieve best outcomes for children and young people and drive plans to robustly address physical, identity, emotional, and educational needs.

• Supporting children to retain meaningful relationships with their families and wider networks

• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all interactions, assessments, and interventions. Prepare high-quality assessments and reports for looked after reviews, court proceedings, and other relevant purposes.
