The Role Hold a caseload of more complex work and act as a source of practice expertise for the team. Support, mentor and co-work with newly qualified and less experienced colleagues. Manage a caseload of children subject to Child Protection plans and care proceedings. Lead on PLO and care proceedings, writing high-quality court statements and care plans. Give evidence in court and work alongside legal services and Children''s Guardians. Work with families and partner agencies to reduce risk and secure permanence for children. About You A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration. Experience of child protection and care proceedings work, including PLO and court.
