      <description>Location: Ipswich | Salary: &amp;pound;40 - &amp;pound;42/hour | Type: Temporary | About the Role   Suffolk County Council is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a newly established Assessment and Intervention Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pilot team sitting within MASH, designed to transform how families are supported at the earliest stage.  The team has been developed in line with the Family First Partnership Programme, with a clear focus on:   Early intervention  Reducing escalation into statutory social work teams  Supporting families promptly and effectively   You will play a key role in standing up and shaping the IFD Assessment Team, helping to build a responsive service that alleviates pressure on teams managing high caseloads.
