Overview
The role of the Senior Social Care Worker is to provide support and guidance to a team of social care workers, whilst ensuring the highest level of care and leading by example. You will liaise with the seniors in the home reporting any matters of concern. You must have experience in the care sector and be willing to learn and expand on your knowledge. You’ll help make a difference in people’s lives while enabling them to enjoy activities and live safe, happy and fulfilling lives.Base pay range

£12.85 to £13.05 Hour (A higher range is offered to applicants with qualifications in health and social care)The role involves shift work and weekends on a rota basis. Taking the lead with supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a residential care environmentSupervising a team and assisting with the overall management of the homeLiaising with managers and other shift leadersExecuting tasks allocated in a professional, timely and accurate mannerSupervising and sharing mealtimes with residents to encourage a positive attitude towards food and diningAssisting residents in their daily activities whether this be in or away from the homeUsing your initiative when supporting residents during their activities and with day-to-day tasksPersonal attributes
