Senior SOC Engineer (Inside IR35) £450 day rate, Hybrid workingParity is delighted to partner with our client, a public sector organisation, who are looking to recruit a Senior SOC Engineer. Initially 9-month contract with view for extension. This role will hybrid working, with site location in Milton Keynes. Active UK DV clearance is required for this role.You will be joining a well-established Security Operations Centre within a highly secure, government-aligned environment.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on critical cyber security operations, supporting the protection and monitoring of complex systems.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain SOC tools, controls, and platformsInvestigate, resolve, or escalate security incidentsSupport analysts with incident response and threat investigationsAnalyse logs and system data to improve detection and alertingDevelop and maintain detection rules and SOC proceduresSupport integration of new systems into SOC toolingMaintain data integrity across cyber security systemsSkills andamp; Experience RequiredExperience working in a SOC environmentHands-on experience with SIEM and/or IPS toolsStrong understanding of cyber threats and security operationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong IT background (support or engineering)Ability to create clear technical documentationStrong communication and teamwork skillsIf this sounds like the role for you then simply click on the apply button.Parity - Better Decisions: ..... full job details .....
