A respected regional developer is seeking a driven and highly organised Site Manager to take full responsibility for a new care home development in Hampshire, with further projects to follow.
This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone with strong experience circa 10+ years managing care home new build projects from inception to completion.
Site Manager Key Responsibilities
Manage all day-to-day site operations from pre-construction through to handover
Coordinate site setup, logistics, materials, and labour to maintain programme delivery
Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and site cleanliness at all times
Collaborate with engineers, consultants, architects, and utility providers
Monitor build quality and ensure work complies with all design and technical requirements
Oversee subcontractor work stages, snagging processes, and final sign-offs
Produce regular progress reports for senior management
Identify and implement cost-effective delivery strategies without compromising quality
Site Manager Criteria
Proven experience managing care home or similar commercial/residential developments
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and health and safety standards
Excellent planning, coordination, and decision-making skills
Experience managing subcontractors, utility services, and consultants
The ability to lead and motivate on-site teams to meet project deadlines
High attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and compliance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
