Rate: £270 - £300 per day 
Contract: Freelance
Duration: 12–18 Months

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Site Manager to join a residential development comprising two new-build RC frame apartment buildings.

Working for a reputable main contractor, you will be responsible for managing key elements of the construction programme, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations across two residential buildings.
• Manage subcontractors and direct labour on site.
• Drive programme delivery and coordinate construction activities.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
• Liaise with project management, commercial, design, and client teams.
• Manage site logistics and sequencing of works.
• Produce and maintain site records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven track record delivering large-scale RC frame residential projects.
• Previous experience working as a Senior Site Manager on multi-storey residential developments.
• Strong knowledge of structural frame, façade, internals, and finishing packages.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work fronts simultaneously.
• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid certificates are essential.
• Stable employment history with recognised contractors preferred.
