Senior Site Manager

Location: Maidstone Contract: Freelance Duration: 4 months Start Date: ASAP We are looking for an experienced Freelance Senior Site Manager to take ownership of the final stages of a new-build residential development and drive the project through to successful completion and handover. The project comprises a three-storey apartment block with 65 apartments, and we need a strong, hands-on Senior Site Manager who is experienced in taking a project through the critical completion and close-out phase. The Role You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, with a particular focus on driving the programme, coordinating trades, managing quality and ensuring all 65 apartments are brought to completion and ready for handover. You will work closely with the wider project team, subcontractors and consultants to identify and remove blockers, maintain momentum and ensure outstanding works are closed out efficiently. You will also be responsible for overseeing and managing an Assistant Site Manager, providing clear direction and ensuring the site team remains focused on delivery. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the site through to practical completion and handover. Drive the programme and ensure key milestones are achieved. Manage the close-out of 65 individual apartments, including snagging, finishing works and outstanding items.
