Senior Site ManagerLocation: Cambridge Salary: CompetitiveStart: ASAPA leading main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee a new area of works on an ongoing project in Cambridge.This is a key site-based position for someone who is confident working autonomously, taking ownership of an area and driving delivery through to completion.The RoleTake responsibility for the day-to-day management of a designated work area.Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and construction activities.Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.Manage site progress, sequencing and coordination with the wider project team.Identify and resolve technical and delivery issues proactively.Maintain high standards of health and safety and site compliance.Work independently while keeping the wider project team fully informed.About YouProven experience as a Senior Site Manager / Site Manager with a main contractor.Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of a work area.Civils / groundworks experience preferred, although relevant construction backgrounds will be considered.Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.Good understanding of programme, quality and health and safety requirements.Able to work effectively within a busy live construction environment.Must be willing to undergo prison security vetting as part of the project requirements.If you''re an experienced Site Manager looking for a ..... full job details .....
