Senior Site Manager (permanent position)

Position: Senior Site Manager Contract type: Permanent Salary: £ competitive + package Target start date: December 2026 Skilled Careers contact: Mark Dixon (Maidstone branch) The role: Due to continuous project awards across the South East the need has arisen to recruit for a Senior Site Manager to join a key project in the the retail and leisure sectors. Key responsibilities: Reporting to the site based Project Manager and to be responsible for day-to-day operational management of design and build projects up to £15m in value. Leadership and management of the site team which will include two Assistant Site Managers and a Logistics Manager. Driving performance, accountability and programme compliance. Short-term planning, programme implementation and site phasing to ensure works are delivered in line with project milestones and client expectations. Coordination and management of all specialist subcontractors, ensuring activities are properly sequenced, resourced and integrated to achieve a smooth project delivery. Championing a positive safety culture through the enforcement of PPE requirements, safe systems of work and behavioural safety standards across the site. Ensuring full compliance with all company procedures, management systems, quality processes, documentation and reporting requirements. Management and control of inspections, temporary works, permits, RAMS, site records and statutory compliance activities.
