Senior Site ManagerLocation: Guildford Salary: 70,000 to 75,000 plus packageStat Date: October OR November We are working with a well-established national contractor that is looking to appoint a Senior Site Manager for a major student accommodation project in Guildford.The project is a new-build scheme valued at over 50 million, delivering more than 300 student bedrooms across several multi-storey blocks. The construction programme includes demolition and enabling works, piling, groundworks and drainage, followed by a reinforced concrete frame, external envelope and full internal fit-out. The completed development will also include communal areas, ground-floor commercial space, cycle storage, landscaping and associated external works The Senior Site Manager will be heavily focused on the day-to-day delivery of the project, reporting directly to a site-based Project Director. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate works on site and ensure the project is delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys being site-based and taking ownership of the construction programme rather than working in a predominantly administrative role.
