Senior Site Manager (Facade Lead) - Fixed Term Contract

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Site Manager / Facade Lead for a major and highly complex retained facade project in Birmingham city centre.This is a specialist role with sole responsibility for the facade package, taking ownership from design development through to delivery, completion and handover.You will be the lead point of contact for everything facade-related, working closely with the design team, consultants, client and specialist subcontractors to ensure the package is fully coordinated and delivered safely, correctly and to programme.Responsibilities:Full ownership of the retained facade package from design through to completionManaging facade design development, coordination and technical queriesReviewing drawings, specifications, details and buildabilityLeading and managing specialist facade subcontractorsPlanning and coordinating facade works alongside the wider construction programmeManaging interfaces between the retained facade, new structure and temporary worksOverseeing surveys, investigations, temporary works and facade protectionManaging quality, inspections, snagging and handoverMonitoring programme, progress, costs and subcontractor performanceEnsuring all works are delivered safely and in accordance with project requirementsExperience required:Strong Senior Site Management / Facade Management backgroundExtensive experience delivering complex facade packagesSpecific experience with retained facades, facade retention/support systems and ..... full job details .....
