Senior Site Manager

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Site Manager work on a £12m new build industrial development in Watford. This is a freelance position with a large, well-respected main contractor. 

You will report into a Project Manager and be responsibile for managing various packages across the project which will be from cradle to grave. Start Date 1st September 2025. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring programme, quality, and safety targets are achieved.
• Lead the site team, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager.
• Maintain strong communication with the client, consultants, and internal teams.
• Enforce health & safety compliance in line with company and legal requirements.

About You

• Demonstrable experience as a Senior Site Manager delivering industrial or large-scale new build schemes (£10m+).
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid essential.
• Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

Rate

• circa £330pd CIS or PAYE Umbrella
