Senior Site Engineer

The Role

As a Senior Engineer, you will take responsibility for the successful technical delivery of water treatment and associated civil engineering works, overseeing day-to-day engineering activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.-

Senior Site Engineer Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day engineering delivery of water treatment and associated civil engineering works.
• Leading and supporting Site Engineers and subcontractors.
• Reviewing drawings and specifications and resolving technical queries with the design team.
• Navigating and interpreting CAD drawings.
• Setting out and checking works, including levels, coordinates, and dimensions.
• Managing inspections, ITPs, QA documentation, and as-built records.
• Providing technical input into RAMS and construction methodologies.

Senior Site Engineer Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on water, utilities, or heavy civil engineering projects.
• Strong background in structures, reinforced concrete, pipelines, and water treatment infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of ASP, FSP, and Structures.
• Confident ability to navigate and interpret CAD drawings.
• Good understanding of QA procedures, programme management, and construction delivery processes.
• Relevant engineering qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
