Senior Site Engineer

Job description: Jaberu Recruitment Services are currently looking for an experienced Section Engineer / Setting Out Engineer for a site in Midlothian to start immediately. This is a part-time opportunity, working approximately 2 days per week, providing cover for the existing Section Engineer. Duties and Responsibilities: Carrying out accurate setting out and surveying duties on site. Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications. Interpreting construction drawings and providing technical support to site teams. Monitoring quality and ensuring works meet required standards. Liaising with site management and subcontractors. Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress as required. Requirements: Previous experience in a Section Engineer or Setting Out Engineer role. Strong knowledge of construction drawings, surveying and setting out. Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Experience working on civil engineering or groundworks projects. Ability to work independently and support the existing site team.
