Senior Site Engineer

Job description:

Jaberu Recruitment Services are currently looking for an experienced Section Engineer / Setting Out Engineer for a site in Midlothian to start immediately.

This is a part-time opportunity, working approximately 2 days per week, providing cover for the existing Section Engineer.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carrying out accurate setting out and surveying duties on site.
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Interpreting construction drawings and providing technical support to site teams.
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works meet required standards.
• Liaising with site management and subcontractors.
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Section Engineer or Setting Out Engineer role.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, surveying and setting out.
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience working on civil engineering or groundworks projects.
• Ability to work independently and support the existing site team.

Location: Midlothian

Working Hours: Approximately 2 days per week

Start Date: Immediate
