Senior Site Agent

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Senior Site Agent to help deliver a Water Treatment Works (WTW) project in Portsmouth. The project involves tunnelling and shaft construction, so previous experience in these areas is essential.

Senior Site Agent Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Managing Site Agents, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors
• Overseeing tunnelling and shaft construction works
• Client and stakeholder liaison
• Toolbox talks
• Health and safety compliance
• Managing RAMS, permits and temporary works
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
• Monitoring quality and maintaining site records
• Reporting progress to the Project Manager
• Supporting programme planning and project delivery

Senior Site Agent Requirements:

• Black or Gold CSCS
• SMSTS
• Strong tunnelling and shaft experience is essential
• Previous WTW or water infrastructure experience is essential
• Strong civil engineering background
• Experience managing underground works, deep excavations and temporary works
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements
• IT literate
• Full UK driving licence
