Job Title: Site Agent - Highways and CivilsLocation: NewcastleSalary: 400 - 410 per dayDuration: 5 MonthsRole Overview: A hands on Site Agent managing and pushing forward a Highways Civils scheme in Newcastle. Must have extensive experience in highways, drainage, programming, RAMS and more. Key Requirements:Prior experience managing highways civils schemes in a Site Agent or Project Manager role in the UK.A good communicator, able to deal with a range of people, tasks and obligationsWell organised, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of the worksResponsibilities:Pre-contract planning and liaison with estimatorsLiaising with internal and external project stakeholdersPlanning, programming, and resourcing contractsIdentifying tender and other financial opportunitiesDelegating duties to engineering and contracts staffIdentifying, evaluating, and managing claims and variationsAccepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontractsCompiling applications for payment and agreeing final accountsProviding quality input to regional management and planning meetingsManaging projects to achieve financial, safety, quality, and environmental targetsUpholding immaculate Health and safety standards for the projects you are onPromote integrated working with other members within the project to create a one-team ethos, including development of team membersSupport the implementation and monitoring of Performance Excellence and Health and Safety ..... full job details .....
