Senior Service Engineer (Protection and Control) Electrification and Automation (EA) Location: Hebburn, Newcastle upon Tyne (70% Office/Home Based, 30% Customer Site Travel)Help Shape the Future of the UK''s Energy NetworkSiemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Senior Service Engineer to join our Protection and Control team in Hebburn. In this role, you''ll support the maintenance, troubleshooting and enhancement of critical Protection and Control systems across the UK''s Transmission and Distribution network.You''ll be responsible for fault finding, testing, commissioning and technical support activities, helping customers maintain safe, reliable and efficient network operations while delivering against service commitments. Key Responsibilities As our Senior Service Engineer, you will:Participate in an on-call support rota, responding to customer network issues as required.Provide remote technical support to customers under Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Diagnose and resolve faults across Protection and Control systems.Log customer incidents and produce service reports.Attend customer sites when required to investigate faults and implement solutions.Develop and configure Protection and Control solutions.Produce and review engineering documentation, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and I/O Schedules.Create test schedules and support testing activities.Carry out Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities.Provide Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) ..... full job details .....
