Senior Service Charge Accountant

Hyperion Partners is working with an established residential property management business seeking a capable and motivated Senior Service Charge Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of financial operations while supporting and developing a team. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate delivery of service charge accounts across a portfolio of residential developments, balancing day-to-day accounting responsibilities with team oversight and process improvement. Working alongside colleagues across finance and property management, you will help maintain strong financial controls, improve reporting standards and ensure clients receive a reliable, professional service. What You''ll Be Responsible For Leading and developing the team Oversee the daily activities of the service charge accounting team, ensuring workloads are distributed effectively and deadlines are prioritised. Support team members with technical queries, account preparation and the resolution of more complex issues. Conduct regular performance reviews, one-to-one meetings and appraisals, encouraging professional development and accountability. Identify training needs and help colleagues strengthen their technical knowledge and confidence.
