Senior Service Advisor

A busy franchised dealership in Croydon needs an experienced Service Advisor who is ready to take on more responsibility. This is a great next step for a customer-focused advisor who thrives when the service desk is at full stretch and enjoys helping colleagues perform at their best.

As Senior Service Advisor, you will be central to the customer experience and to the smooth running of the service department every day.

Key responsibilities

• Building strong relationships with customers and giving outstanding service from booking to collection
• Giving clear, accurate advice on servicing, repairs, costs and timescales
• Managing bookings and scheduling work into the workshop efficiently
• Working closely with technicians to keep work flowing and completed on time
• Keeping customers regularly updated while their vehicle is with us
• Dealing with customer queries and resolving any issues professionally
• Supporting and guiding the rest of the service advisor team
• Arranging courtesy cars or other transport when needed

Skills and experience

• Previous Service Advisor experience in a franchised dealership
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisation and the ability to prioritise a heavy workload
• A professional, confident telephone manner
• Calm under pressure in a fast-moving environment
• A positive attitude and strong team spirit
• Experience with a volume manufacturer brand (an advantage)
• A full UK driving licence
