We’re partnering with one of the UK''s leading digital agencies, who are looking for an experienced Senior Technical SEO Analyst to join their growing team in Leeds.You’ll combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking and creativity to solve complex SEO challenges, drive performance across diverse client portfolios, and stay ahead of how AI is reshaping the search landscape. You’ll design and deliver cutting-edge SEO strategies, lead technical projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role offers variety, ownership of impactful projects, and opportunities to mentor others while continuing to build your own expertise.Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of advanced technical SEO strategies across multiple industries and platforms.Optimise websites for traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven environments.Partner with content teams to ensure schema, structured data, and semantic markup support visibility across search and generative platforms.Translate SEO insights into clear recommendations and roadmaps aligned with broader business goals.Use analytics and SEO tools to measure performance, identify opportunities, and forecast impact.Manage complex site migrations, including international, eCommerce, and large-scale structural projects.Collaborate with developers, UX specialists, and content creators to integrate SEO best practices throughout project lifecycles.Present recommendations and results to clients and stakeholders in a clear, engaging way.Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing within the agency.Stay at the forefront of SEO and AI trends and bring innovative ideas to the team and clients.Person specification

Digital agency experience in SEO with strong technical expertise.Experience with large-scale site migrations (eCommerce, international, or multi-market).Proficiency with SEO and analytics platforms (Google Search Console, GA, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).Understanding of structured data, schema.org, and semantic optimisation.Familiarity with data visualisation tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar).Strong knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and content strategy.Awareness of how AI-driven search is shaping SEO.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and presentation abilities, able to make technical insights accessible.Collaborative approach, with the ability to work across teams and disciplines.Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and curiosity about new technologies.Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.Seniority level
