Senior Scrub Nurse / Theatre PractitionerLocation: MaidstoneSalary: Up to £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Hours: 40 hours per week - Days onlyWorking Pattern: No nights or Sunday working About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Scrub Nurse / Theatre Practitioner to join a well-established, high-performing surgical team in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled theatre professional looking for a better work-life balance, with a structured days-only rota and no weekend night commitments. You will play a key role within the operating theatre, supporting a wide range of surgical procedures, with a particular focus on orthopaedic and general surgery. As a senior team member, you will also contribute to maintaining high clinical standards, supporting junior staff, and ensuring efficient theatre operations. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care as part of the theatre teamScrub for a variety of procedures, particularly orthopaedic and general surgeriesSupport the Theatre Manager in the day-to-day running of the departmentMentor and support junior staff and studentsEnsure adherence to clinical governance, infection control, and health and safety protocolsWork collaboratively with consultants, anaesthetists, and wider MDT Requirements Registered Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)Current NMC or HCPC registrationSignificant scrub experience within orthopaedic and/or general ..... full job details .....
