      <description>Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Job Title:  Senior Engineer  Department:  Rail and Transport Systems  Reporting to:  Project Manager  Location:  Ashby-de-la-Zouch   Job Purpose   Responsible for developing specifications, producing engineering designs, and supporting site activities including testing and commissioning. The role also involves managing technical interfaces and maintaining strong client relationships.   Key Responsibilities      Deliver engineering solutions across SCADA, BMS, SISS ( Panorama or Iconics, WINCC or MEIDS ideally) , and mobile systems.   Produce designs, drawings, and technical documentation to meet customer requirements.   Collaborate with stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.   Ensure compliance with QHSE, CDM, and relevant rail standards.   Review technical specifications and provide support to clients, suppliers, and internal teams.   Support project delivery, ensuring progress, quality, and financial targets are met.   Investigate and resolve site issues, implementing corrective actions and sharing lessons learned.
