The Senior SAP SD Functional Analyst will be part of the SAP Implementation team, working closely with other application teams on large and smaller sub projects. Youll provide expert-level support for incidents, enhancements and integration with other modules and will ensure a seamless end-to-end process execution. You will promote and adhere to best practices (such as the ITIL process) and collaborate across multiple sites and audiences.Key Responsibilities

Act as a lead on SAP SD Projects, enhancements and initiatives from scoping to deployment and support.Propose and specify both configuration and ABAP solutions to proposed business change needs.Understand configuration dependencies and integration points between SAP modules (Logistics/SD/MM/FI).Lead workshops, design sessions and regular alignment meetings with business stakeholders.Design SAP configuration, plan actions, test and implement within a Project management framework.Ensure SAP availability and performance to agreed SLAs; investigate issues and act as advisor and super user.Support the delivery of training to SAP users across UK sites.Create/update application documentation and share expert knowledge within the SAP CoE team.Proactively manage applications to improve monitoring and performance; reduce exceptions, faults and failures.Provide SAP regression testing for other applications interfacing with SAP.Stay informed about SAP releases, enhancements and new functionality; participate in assessments of new functionality or enhancements.Support business implementations, patching and upgrades with best practice, support, testing and configuration skills.Analyse business processes and system usage to identify improvement opportunities and advise on best practices.Drive automation and digital transformation within the SD domain.Act as primary escalation point for complex SAP SD issues; guide and support team members.Serve as trusted advisor to business process owners and key users in Sales, Customer Service and Distribution functions.Monitor SAP SD module performance, identify bottlenecks or gaps and suggest improvements.Lead daily/weekly operational reviews and support planning with team members and stakeholders.What you’ll bring

Essential Criteria

Strong understanding of Sales and Distribution processes.Extensive experience with SAP SD including Order Management, Pricing and Rebates, Billing and Invoicing, integrated flows MM and FI/CO, and Reporting.Experience with sales and distribution process optimization and automation; proven SAP solution delivery.ITIL operational background.Demand and capacity planning experience.ABAP development knowledge.Knowledge of PI/PO.Jira and Transport Express knowledge.Willingness and ability to commit to the hybrid working pattern.Willingness and ability to travel to other sites as required (Colchester and London).Desirable Criteria

Some elements of SAP FICO and SAP MM; basic knowledge of their interaction with SAP SD.Application instructions

The salary for this opportunity is up to £70,000-£79,000, depending on skills and experience, plus a generous bonus scheme and benefits.Hybrid working
