An exciting opportunity has opened up for a commercially driven, relationship-focused Senior Sales Executive to lead the sales for a brand new tech-focused hospitality event launching in March at ExCeL London. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building connections, driving results, and creating something from the ground up. You’ll be at the forefront of a dynamic and fast-evolving sector, where technology is reshaping how the hospitality industry operates. As the Commercial Manager, you’ll be instrumental in growing this new platform, leading on exhibition and sponsorship sales, managing key client relationships, and shaping commercial strategies that deliver real value.What you’ll be doing:Leading commercial activity on a brand-new launch event in the hospitality technology space.Managing and nurturing client relationships, understanding their needs, and building tailored solutions.Driving revenue growth through exhibition and sponsorship sales.Working closely with the event leadership on floorplan strategy, CRM management, and business development.Attending industry events and hosting clients—both on-site and at networking functions.2+ years in exhibitions/sponsorship sales, with a strong track record of launching or scaling events.A proactive, confident and persuasive approach to building partnerships and closing deals.High emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset.Creativity, resilience and a solutions-focused attitude.(Bonus points for line management experience.)Why this role?This is a rare chance to shape a new event from day one and become a visible ambassador in the hospitality tech space.
