Senior Safety Engineer

Airswift is partnering with a major Energy Company on an exciting opportunity for a Safety Engineer in Glasgow, United Kingdom .You will support and lead a range of safety projects within high-hazard industries, including Oil and Gas, Renewables, and Low Carbon energy, contributing to the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safety engineering projects with technical excellenceConduct safety assessments (e.g., consequence analysis, QRA, FSA, COMAH/Safety Case compliance)Write and review technical reportsMentor and lead junior engineersPrepare proposals and cost estimations for new scopesEngage directly with clients and help build strong relationshipsContribute to business growth and continuous improvementPerform additional duties as reasonably required by the organizationRequired Qualifications and Skills

Degree in a relevant engineering or related disciplineChartered status (or close to obtaining it)Strong experience in Process/Technical Safety within the energy sectorProficiency in risk and safety management, QRA, and consequence analysis (PHAST preferred)Solid knowledge of COMAH, Safety Case Regulations, and other relevant standardsProven ability to lead scopes, manage budgets, and meet deadlinesStrong technical writing and peer-review skillsExperience contributing to winning ..... full job details .....
