The Opportunity An established engineering consultancy serving the defence sector is seeking a Senior Safety Case Engineer to support a major programme of work for new dock facilities and supporting infrastructure. You ll join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team in Bristol tasked with shaping the safety justification for high-integrity nuclear systems, ensuring designs meet regulatory, operational and safety expectations throughout their lifecycle. The Role This role would suit candidates working as nuclear safety engineers, safety case authors, design substantiation engineers, nuclear systems engineers, safety assurance specialists, safety consultants, hazard analysts, regulatory compliance engineers or defence infrastructure engineers. We would also welcome applications from professionals within defence engineering, nuclear energy, high-hazard process industries, power generation and complex infrastructure environments. Your duties and responsibilities will be Developing, managing and maintaining safety case and design substantiation documentation for nuclear-related infrastructure.
