Senior Revit Technician

An established structural and civil engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Structural Technician (Revit) to join their growing team in Leicester or Warwick. Their portfolio includes a diverse range of residential and commercial developments, delivering innovative and practical engineering solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Structural Technician (Revit) to work on technically challenging projects within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful Senior Structural Technician (Revit) will be responsible for producing high-quality structural drawings and detailed 3D models, working closely with engineers, architects and other construction professionals.

As a Senior Structural Technician (Revit), responsibilities will include:

• Producing detailed structural drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD.

• Preparing structural detailing for steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry structures.

• Developing accurate technical drawings for residential and commercial building projects.

• Coordinating structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines.

• Supporting structural engineers throughout the design and construction process.

• Ensuring drawings comply with relevant UK standards and project specifications.

• Attending design coordination meetings and resolving technical issues.

• Mentoring junior technicians and reviewing drawing quality.

The ideal Senior Structural Technician (Revit) will have:

• An HNC, HND or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction-related discipline.

• Strong experience working as a Structural Technician within a UK engineering consultancy.

• Advanced proficiency in Revit, including structural modelling and detailing.

• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM coordination processes.

• Experience detailing steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry structures.

• A proven background working on residential and commercial building projects.

• Knowledge of UK construction standards and structural detailing practices.

• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
