Senior Residential Support Worker Location: South Coast England Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: £31,824 £32,656 The Role We''re looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a children''s residential home, supporting the management team in leading day-to-day shift operations and delivering high-quality care to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This is a step up from a standard support worker role. You''ll be leading and mentoring a team, holding supervisory responsibilities, and playing a key part in ensuring the home meets the highest standards of care in line with the Children''s Homes Regulations 2015. What You''ll Be Doing Leadership and shift management: Plan, lead and manage shifts, acting as a positive role model for colleagues and young people alike Supervise and mentor support workers, supporting their professional development and induction Support the Registered Manager and step up in the Deputy Manager''s absence Ensure rotas are maintained and shift cover is always in place Complete on call duties as required (depending on experience) Care and safeguarding: Keep safeguarding at the heart of every decision and uphold child protection procedures at all times Undertake direct care with young people as required, including keyworking sessions Write and update ..... full job details .....
