Role: Senior Support Worker Children s Residential Home Location: Leicestershire Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum Hours: Shift pattern including nights, weekends, and statutory holidays An established children s residential home providing a therapeutic and nurturing environment for young people aged with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The home is committed to promoting positive development, safety, and wellbeing through a compassionate, values-driven approach. The Role: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to lead shifts and provide high-quality care for young people. You will support daily activities, education, and statutory meetings, ensuring a consistent, therapeutic approach. The role also includes supervising and mentoring staff, maintaining high standards within the home, and safeguarding the welfare of all residents. Key Responsibilities: Lead shifts, supervise staff, and ensure consistent, high-quality care in line with regulations Support young people s daily routines, education, therapy, and personal development Implement care plans, risk assessments, and LAC documentation, attending statutory meetings as required Safeguard young people, respond to challenging behaviours, and promote positive outcomes Build strong relationships with families, social workers, and external professionals Assist with household tasks, budgeting, and maintaining a safe, homely environment Contribute to staff induction, training, and professional ..... full job details .....
