Senior Residential Care WorkerLocation: UxbridgeSalary: up to 30,000 depending on experienceFull-time, permanentWe are recruiting an experienced Senior Residential Care Worker to join an Ofsted-registered residential home supporting adolescent boys with Learning Disabilities and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).Key responsibilitiesProvide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes the health, welfare and development of young people.Lead shifts and take responsibility for the operation of the home when required.Act as keyworker for individual young people: contribute to care plans, reviews and transitions.Supervise, support and develop junior staff, including carrying out formal supervisions.Manage day-to-day household routines (cooking, shopping, appointments, activities) and support education participation.Apply approved de-escalation and behaviour-management strategies, record and report incidents appropriately.Maintain compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding procedures, and company policies.Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture that respects young people''s social, emotional and cultural needs.Working patternRolling rota: 1 day on, 2 days off, with a requirement of 12.5 shifts per month.The rota includes sleep-ins, which are shared across the team.
