Key responsibilities Provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes the health, welfare and development of young people. Lead shifts and take responsibility for the operation of the home when required. Act as keyworker for individual young people: contribute to care plans, reviews and transitions. Supervise, support and develop junior staff, including carrying out formal supervisions. Manage day-to-day household routines (cooking, shopping, appointments, activities) and support education participation. Apply approved de-escalation and behaviour-management strategies, record and report incidents appropriately. Maintain compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding procedures, and company policies.
