About the Role
The Senior Reservoir Geologist position, based in Crawley, supports an international energy-sector client on regional Middle East projects. Key Requirements
Ten years of Reservoir Geology experience
Previous experience with a major international oilfield services company is highly desirable
Strong hands-on experience with Petrel
Proven experience in static geological model construction
Strong knowledge of Middle East geology
Experience working on regional Middle East projects
Experience developing and reviewing geological and static reservoir models
Strong technical understanding of reservoir characterisation and modelling
Ability to provide technical support to operations and customers
Experience supporting technical studies, job design and project delivery
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise in Reservoir Geology throughout project and service delivery activities.
Develop and review static geological models using Petrel.
Provide technical support to operations and customers as required.
Support the development of technical designs and reservoir studies.
Identify opportunities to improve technical solutions and service delivery.
Support technical evaluations, tenders and project assessments.
Participate in risk management, technical investigations and lessons-learned activities.
Keep up to date with new technologies and developments within reservoir geology.
